What Vitran is
Vitran is software that lets a distributor show a catalog and receive enquiries. Vitran is not a seller, marketplace, or payment service. It does not take orders, hold stock, collect money, or deliver goods.
Buying from a distributor
Every enquiry is between you and the distributor whose catalog you are viewing. Rates, availability, payment, dispatch, delivery, returns and any dispute are matters for you and that distributor alone. Prices shown are indicative: MRP is printed on the goods, and any rate shown is the distributor’s own and may change when they quote you.
Using the service
- Give a mobile number that is yours.
- Do not send false enquiries, spam, or anything unlawful.
- Distributors are responsible for their catalog: the accuracy of descriptions and prices, and their right to show the brand names and photos they upload.
Liability
Vitran is provided as is. We are not liable for any transaction, loss or dispute between a buyer and a distributor. Our total liability to a distributor is limited to the fees they paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
